So here is a Verreaux's Milky Eagle-Owl, from Africa. Apparently, one of their larger species.

I am not a birder, in the least, but I do enjoy seeing the faces of nature from different parts of our planet.

Spotted at the World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, Idaho (as I slowly work through my stash of photos).
