Chevron

I took this today at the top of my road. I liked the way the sun was shining on the leaves which are now changing colour and I have to duck under them to walk along the path. The Parish Council have been asking people to trim their trees so that they don't overhang the path but unfortunately our neighbours are very selfish and ignore any requests to make life easier for anybody. They moved into the oldest house in the village and then try to run a business from the property which is totally illegal for the type of business they are running. They refuse to cut the trees along our boundary which means that we do not get any sunlight into our garden. As you can imagine we are not exactly best friends with them. This pic is for the October challenge - chevron
Aha some 'proper' chevrons!

Oh dear, perhaps you could sneak out at night and cut them down yourself!

Oh it's horrible having bad neighbours - you can lop off anything on your side though!

@judithg Unfortunately the trees have preservation orders on them so we are not allowed to lop anything off them and the conifers growing between them don't hang over the fence!

@busylady The trees have preservation orders on them so we can't have a little snip

Really strange seeing that sign, had a deja vu moment...but, I worked in Bedford many years ago at times and think my lodgings must have been along here!
