This young common gull landed on the table of a restaurant as we walked past and he was obviously looking for food. Sadly he was disappointed as there was nothing left despite him tipping the bowl up! We have been to see our friends in Eastbourne for the weekend and this time we actually got there without too many hitches although we did go through Maidstone (rather the long way round!) due to the directions being wrong from AA autoroute which is unusual. This is why I haven't posted over the weekend so I will have a bit of catching up to do and it's back to work for me tomorrow.
