Two for joy

I went for a long walk around RSPB HQ Sandy this morning as I thought I might rain and I could go to the hide if it did. Someone told me that the hobby had a nest over on Galley Hill which spurred me on to go and see for myself. I had a job to see him but after looking through someone's scope, I knew where to look so did get a couple of shots of one of the parents in a different tree to the nest which I shall post as a record shot in my 4th album as it's not terribly good. I now have an excuse to get a longer lens! LOL

These 2 magpies appeared when I eventually went to the hide and I couldn't resist a shot of them when they both sat looking at each other.

I actually don't like magpies, they're bullies of little birds, but this is a great shot. Discussing how to get at those fat balls!
