He loves sunflower hearts

The greenfinch is now a regular visitor and comes every day to the sunflower hearts which he loves. It's such a joy to see him as they are on the endangered list so although he's always on his own, one day I hope he will bring a friend.

My back just doesn't seem to be getting any better so I am going to go to the doctors to collect my prescription and ask whether they can prescribe some strong painkillers. Because I have to take aspirin it limits me to what I can take. Hopefully they will ask the doctor to prescribe something suitable.

The vaccine is not good news for me as I am allergic to certain medication so will not be able to have it.

Fabulous photo, clarity...Rosie, I am sorry to hear about your back. Let's hope you get some relief soon. As for the vaccine, I will not be taking it either because I am allergic to most preservatives used in shots.

He is a beautiful bird. On his migration south when the weather gets cold or vise versa he sometimes stops to rest here. Have never seen him except in a cage.
