This was the view from my bedroom window last night/this morning - I think it was after midnight when I took this. I'm not sure what settings I had on my lumix when I posted my other moonshot but just played about a bit and took a few very similar shots. I could do with a few hints about shooting at night if anyone has any tips to offer
I tried taking a photograph of the moon last night as it was coming up in a red ball, but they didn't turn out very well. I am going to try and do a course on photography in the Autumn think this one of yours is good.
This is a good shot! Long exposure shots are a little tricky especially of you aren't using a tripod. The camera must be held very still. You can brace it on a windowsill or other stationery object if you don't have a tripod!
@grammyn I have got a tripod but it was downstairs and I was just going to get into bed when I noticed the moon so I couldn't be bothered to go and get it. I probably should have taken a bit more trouble but hey ho
