I think this is a siskin due to its black cap and forked tail. There is another pic of one in my Even More album which shows the stripes better but the bird looks a bit ruffled by the wind. I drove back from Stotfold tonight and there was a beautiful sunset - a big golden ball in the sky and the clouds looked absolutely lovely and I had my camera in the car. However, I was in such a line of traffic that I couldn't stop. How frustrating is that! It would have made a beautiful capture
