Not a particularly good shot as it was taken through the window this morning before I went to work. I've been to a training session on Timebanking and when I came out, it was snowing so I didn't have a chance to go for a walk to take some pics. I didn't get home until gone 4pm anyway so there wouldn't have been much time either. Oh well another day perhaps I will get some better pics
@jankoos@carolmw@sabanford Thanks @frankhymus I don't usually post process - I'm a bit lazy and not really sure how to de-saturate parts of a photo. I probably need to learn! I bought Elements 11 just before Christmas but I can't make head nor tail of it really so don't use it
You have the right product! Camera Raw is the place to start in which you can load up JPEGs. Start with HSL/Greyscale (the fourth icon in the panel on the right), ndas a start, you can slide around the 8 color sliders for both saturation (pull them left to desaturate) and luminescence (right to lighten, left to darken). You can get "spot" effects with the TAT (Targeted Adjustment Tool), and even get into dodging and burning with the Adjustment Brush, - two tools on the top bar of the display panel - but that last especially is not a good place to get your feet wet! Good luck. Don't let the product sit there doing nothing!
