My walk in Wood Lane today wasn't very rewarding as I met a group of walkers coming towards me followed a bit later by a little boy on his bike accompanied by his father. With all those people about, I didn't get to see many birds! However, on the way back from Biggleswade this morning, I saw quite a low flying red kite in a field and I could see all his markings on the underside of his wings with my naked eye so he would have made a super picture. However, we were in a line of traffic and couldn't stop - it's always the way!
Out cherry tree isn't out yet but it's always covered in blossom. Sadly that's where I have the bird feeders hanging at the moment, I will have to find somewhere else. soon.
