I really liked the way this one came out. I haven't done any processing - this is SOOC. I just like the DOF and the contrast between the colour of the grass this damselfly is sitting on and the colour of the little fellow himself. I just think it has a dreamy quality about it. This was taken when I went for a walk along the brook and found myself having to hold my hands and camera at shoulder height because the stingers were so tall. I was hoping and praying that I could find a stick to hold the nettles back so that I could get through when I suddenly saw one (not a very good one but better than nothing). The path started out OK with the grass having been trodden down but I think whoever had walked along the bank had given up and turned round. I was determined not to do this so persevered!
