Walking along by the main lake, the sun was setting and this young heron was just sitting right on the edge of the lake with the sun shining on him. He stood there for ages until a big Dulux dog came along and frightened him away.
I'm off to Camera club tonight and I'm now beginning to dread seeing my pics up on the projected screen because they are totally unedited and I dread to hear what the judge will say! I'll report back tomorrow. I still haven't worked out how to edit things although Elements doesn't seem to close and then not reopen now so that's progress! I haven't done anything other than resize pics with it though. A steep learning curve is ahead!
