I quickly took a shot of this chap and didn't really have time to see whether it was focused or what he looked like but this first shot I really liked as he's smiling at something on his phone. After taking another shot of him (he looked down), we got chatting and we both agreed that it was a lovely day to be on/near the river.
I told him that I had come to look for kingfishers and he said that he had seen one further up the river but he had disturbed the bird who flew away. Damn - I didn't get to see him!
