I went to do a "reccy" in a small town called Shefford and I was wondering as I drove up Hammer Hill towards Deadman's Cross what the story is behind it so I shall have to google it tonight to find out. Anyway, I am sidetracked here as I saw these lovely poppies growing in the grass at the side of the car park for the new GP surgery in Shefford and had to stop and take a pic as they looked so bright on such a grey day!
