Although the female chaffinches aren't so pretty as the males, I still think they are quite sweet. I could have posted a pic of a chaffinch on the same branch as a greenfinch so it was a difficult decision. I found it difficult focusing with the snow this morning and took my pics on shutter priority and I think this pic shows the snow falling probably better than the others but it does tend to give the pic a misty feel rather than the sharpness that I probably would have preferred. If anyone has any tips for me about shooting in snow, I would welcome your help. It's all trial and error with me but you do learn that way even if it takes you a bit longer!
