Once the sun disappeared, the black clouds appeared and I thought it was going to pour with rain but fortunately for me it didn't. I was going to cross the river and see if I could see any redpolls but due to the sky turning black, I thought I had better not! This is actually in colour but it looks as though it's black and white due to the sky and lack of light! I didn't up the ISO because I wanted to capture the mood of the sky and it might have landed up "washed out"
Yes very dramatic. We saw these skies on the way back from Sheffield today but as we were driving I didn't manage to capture the sun's rays. This is beautiful.
