We had a classic car show in the village this afternoon and I must admit I was a bit bored and desperate to have a walk with my camera. I decided that while Steve was talking to people about Daisy (his Austin 7), I would take a quick walk to the cycle track which was only a few yards away. There were loads of people milling around so I thought I would take a quick look at the brook as I thought I wouldn't be able to see any birds! Well what did I see but Mr Heron standing in the brook. I was just so pleased to see him as this is a different brook from the one I pass on the way to work. He must be getting about a bit!
