Cardington brook

The heron had just flown when I took this and I did get a pic of him flying away from me but thought I liked this one better. For a change, it's not a bird! Darren the chap I met to discuss cameras with the other day asked me whether I took pics of anything other than birds because I took my album of birds to show him. I told him I do but I always get caught up with birds as I love them so much. I resisted posting one of a song thrush in full song today which I could have posted instead of this one. I don't know how I managed to resist! LOL
A lovely shot although I don't know how you managed to resist the bird ones today either!

@busylady Actually I think it is oil seed rape that has blown across from the field. I had a really good talk to Darren and he agreed with me that the camera I'm thinking of buying would be ideal for what I want to do. I've just got to go to Cambridge on Monday and hold it again to check the weight, etc. before I throw my money at it but I'm really excited!
