I stopped to hear where the squeaking of little birds was coming from and noticed this nest box. Along came a great tit to satisfy their hunger and I stood and watched him/her come back and forth with food.
Beautiful shot of a lovely little bird using the "side door" to feed his chicks The front door is metal plated to prevent squirrels & other vermin getting in !! yet a bigger hole to the side is undoubtedly made by such a vermin !!
Your bird shots are so fabulous. I've never really been a bird person but your pictures are so interesting that I'm reconsidering the whole aviary thing.
