This pair of quackers went swimming by. I think ducks seem to pair up and stay together from what I've observed which is rather nice.
I sent off for a 50mm lens and it arrived today and I tried it out when I got home and I'm just not impressed so it's going to have to go back. I was looking forward to using it but I don't seem to be able to get any really clear pics whether I use manual or autofocus. I'm really disappointed. It is a Nikon 1.8g. Has anyone else had experience of this lens? The reviews looked good on Amazon
I love the way ducks and swans pair up - these two look lovely together! I've got a canon 1.8 50mm and it took a while to get used to - I use it mainly for indoor portraits where I've found it really sharp, but I've had problems getting it right with larger subjects. @jo13 did all her earlier stuff on a 50mm so she's really an expert
Lovely capture...I have heard a lot of people mention that the 50mm takes some time to get used to...I know I am still not used to mine, but won't get rid of it. Next year I think I will try the 50 days of 50mm to try and work into it more.
