We had such a laugh and I said to one of them that I do love a dirty face (meaning the soot and everything involved with driving a steam engine) and one of the chaps kept teasing me then about the fact that I like a dirty man!! His face on the other side was much blacker so it's a shame I didn't get a full frontal!!!!
