Mum's rescued plant by rosiekind

Mum's rescued plant

When Mum went into a Nursing Home for the last 4.5 months of her life, her garden and all the lovely tubs were left to their own devices. I don't know what this one is but I thought it looked lovely in the spring sunshine. It has white flowers but I liked this shot of the coloured leaves. I think she would be pleased to know that we rescued it.
It is a Pierus Lily of the valley shrub.. will have either pink or white cluster of flowers on in spring... so if not already flowered .. should be soon.

Got my spelling wrong .. it is Pieris... and now that I am not looking on my phone I can see it has got white flowers... such a worth while shrub to have ... a light pruning after flowering and keeps a nice shape..

Gorgeous. Our one has just started to show pink. I love plants that remind me of precious people. And useful tip about pruning which I must try!
