I hope you're not fed up of my nuthatch photos but I really like these birds and would love one to visit my garden but I don't know how to get them in. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know as I have all kinds of seed, suet products, nuts, etc. so I don't think I can get any other temptations for them. Perhaps they just don't live near my house! Mind you I didn't think goldcrests did until one visited me a couple of weeks ago.
What a beautiful capture! I do get both white-breasted and red-breasted nuthatches at our feeders. Mostly at the feeders with a regular “no-mess” type of seed mix. Great photo as I know they don’t stay for long in one spot!
They also like Peanut butter .
