@agima I think I'm getting the hang of using the flash with Kaela. Now I must just figure it out with other aspects of my photography! Thanks so much for all you assistance :-)
Great shot, Sally. I have tried again today to capture my friend with the pipe, using the fill-in flash, but on the camera screen it did not seem to make a huge difference to the shadow...will see what it looks like when it has been downloaded and processed...
@ericdibosco Eric I also don't notice much of a difference when checking the camera screen but I do find a difference when I look at the downloaded image. Sometimes it is much more noticable and others less so. In this capture for instance there is a lot more detail in and around Kaela's eyes. My picture of Freddie, the horse, posted on 16 March was taken in the strong midday sun with the flash. The detailing is much better than with no flash!
@salza True...I had a go at the man with his pipe, and there is much more detail in the eyes, yet I did not lose the all important shadow of the baseball hat...it will be posted soon (just need to finish my men at work series!)
