White Protea

I found a bush today with white Protea flowers growing on it. The colour is just so stunning and unusual.

Beautiful!!! I've been bouncing all weekend, 2 of my Protea seeds have actually germinated, first time I've ever manged to get it right... and in record timing too.... normally (or so I'm told) they take 1-3 months, mine took 26 days!!!

@salza Well, the actual germination took place underground, of course, but I've been photographing the little seedling everyday, and will certainly show you some pictures of that soon! :)

@adambralston Adam, I did try using the flash but landed up with a horrible blown out picture. Maybe I should have upped the ISO. I shall experiment next time I pass by the bush

I was just reading two good articles about "fill flash". That's why I said that. Listen, I think that can be fixed by changing the power of the flash, flash compensation.
