In case all of you haven’t been able to sleep last night trying to think who that funny Santa could be, I have to tell you that the Santa Claus I posted yesterday was ……………………………………… me, hahaha. I asked Ian to take the pictures with my camera. And we have already thought of a different strategy to give some surpirse presents to Michaela next Christmas.
Last Thursday I took Michaela to Valletta to see some cribs. At the Auberge d’Italie (one of the Auberges of the Order of the Knights of Malta – that of the Italian Langue) which today houses the Tourism Authority - there was a cribs show. Not so many cribs at the show but they were very nicely made of very diverse materials. I loved this simple crib and wanted to share it with my 365 friends. As you can see, the ‘grotto’ is made of a piece of tree bark and the sweet, delicate figures of Mary Joseph, Baby Jesus and 4 sheep are made of sack cloth.
this is beautiful!!
