VACATION - DAY 4: BEAUTIFUL ANNECY
17th July. Two shots of Annecy along River Thiou. The top shot shows the busy side of the city with an open-air market reaching on the bridge (sun umbrellas shelter the shoppers from the sun). Bottom shot shows the quiet side of the river ornate with beautiful flowers.
Annecy is one of the most popular towns in the Alps, and is an attractive setting with woods, mountains and the Lake d'Annecy close to hand. It is found in the Haute-Savoie region of eastern France and occupies a strategic location on routes between Italy, Switzerland and France.
