18th July. The day’s excursion was to Chillon Castle and then to Montreax, both in Switzerland. On the way we passed through the Col de la Forclaz, a mountain pass in the Alps, 5,010 ft above sea level. At the highest point of the Pass we stopped for a break and to enjoy some stunning views which surrounded the place. I took this shot facing Martigny which can be seen down in the valley surrounded by the Alps.
In this place I had the most wonderful surprise of my life. But about this a couple of shots later.
