Specially for an Australian friend and one of my first followers.
Indiana Jones poses for a picture with this sculpture of 3 boys in the refurbished public garden at Villa Rundle in Rabat, Gozo.
I had quite a scare here. I left my camera case which contained a spare camera battery and memory card on the ground. My brother took this shot. I took back the camera to see how the picture came out, forgot all about the camera case and together with the others walked out of the garden and up the hill to the city centre. After about an hour I realised what I had done. So I ran back to the spot where I had left the case (I don’t remember running so fast since my footballing days and that is a long time ago). THE CASE WAS NOT THERE. “Fu*****” I said to myself. I asked some people around but nobody had any clue. Then my brother-in-law, who in the meantime went wandering around all over the garden in a vain attempt to find it, came back with the bag in hand – he found it hanging on a tree branch in another part of the garden. There was nothing missing, thank God.
The story did not finish there. I realised that the day must be my lucky day, so I went straight to buy an extra lottery ticket for the evening’s draw and guess what (scroll down)
