Nick: “Come on, Jeff! Get your bags and come aboard. Luck is on our side, today, I spoke to the captain of this frigate and he says he will take us on board if we promise not to make too much noise. And the best part of it is that the frigate is returning home after 6 months on tour of the southern hemisphere. We will travel, first to Cape Town then round the east coast of Africa, through the Suez Canal. If time allows they will also have a short stop at Malta.”
Jeff:” Wow, this is great, Nick. And we will have as many chips as we like. These British add chips to every plate so there will be plenty for us too. And we might even meet some Somalian pirates if we’re in luck. By the way, what’s that funny cap doing on your head?”
Nick: “Well the crew took to me immediately they saw me. Their mascot dog passed away a few days ago and they elected me their new mascot and gave me the cap to keep.”
Jeff: “That’s great! So we will be able to do anything we like whilst on board.”
Nick: “I warn you, don’t get any funny ideas into that dumb head of yours. Remember, I’m the ship mascot not you.”
