Except for a few sporadic showers to keep crops alive (with the help of irrigation) we have experienced a summery start for autumn with high temperatures and beautiful sunshine throughout October. Yesterday, was one of those days when the sky opened its doors and poured bucketful after bucketful of rain throughout the day. The day was bleak and kept me inside for most of the time. To raise up my spirits I decided to post this shot, taken only last week at St George’s Bay – you can see people sunbathing and a swimmer here and there even though it was still relatively early in the day. Today the weather has returned to sunny though the forecast says we will have more rain very soon.
Tomorrow: Jeff and Nick – The day of reckoning
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday’s picture.
