After the short break we continued our trip to our hotel in Montesilvano.
This is the Maiella Mountain that I captured through the coach window on our way there. Very often I was frustrated because the best sights always seemed to be on the opposite side to where I was sitting on the coach. I was changing sides frequently as I had the back of the coach to myself – the others must have thought I was a bit crazy. In the end, taking shots through the opposite side of the coach proved a better option than taking pictures from my side as there were less –or even no – reflections on the glass.
The Maiella range which forms part of the Appenines would be a common sight for the rest of the holiday.
Thank you very much for your wonderful comments and the many fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
I always have this trouble too. very frustrating if you cant move seats. I end up setting my camera on action shots and holding down the button. You have done well with this one
When we lived in Europe early in our marriage we took some bus tours like this. We quickly learned it was easier to go on our own. The good view was always on the wrong side of the bus. You still managed to get a great shot of the mountain.
