This is a shot I took of my wife, Christine, with the Easter egg I bought her when we went to this shopping mall on Maundy Thursday.
There is a story about this Easter egg. Christine had no space to put it in her bag and the coach driver didn’t want to allow us to get it into the coach. So regretfully we had to take it back. But before we left we decided that she takes a photo with it as a token.
You can see the egg among that pile at the foot of that big one. It’s that little orange one.
I had you fooled here, didn’t I. I bet you thought it was that big Easter egg dressed so beautifully in green. This doesn’t mean that Christine doesn’t merit an Easter egg that big. Actually, I had brought a box of chocolate for her from Malta hidden in my luggage which I gave her on Easter Sunday. I do not think that big egg was even edible. It stood there to attract shoppers to a stall manufacturing and selling chocolate Easter eggs at an intersection of the corridors of the mall.
Thank you so very much for looking and for your wonderful comments and the fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
I thought for one minute you wre going to say you'd arranged to jump out of the Easter Egg as a surprise for Christine. ;-)
Fun capture and story, great tones and lovely depth of colour in the egg.
Oop, you had me totally hooked! A wonderful capture of those Easter eggs! Love seeing the size comparison between the egg and your wife as well as the SC! A terrific shot, glad she got to have her photo taken with it! x

Hope you both had a great time there.
