Shot taken on Holy Saturday. A merge of three photos.
This is another popular attraction in Dwejra very close to ‘The Window’ and Fungus Rock that I showed the last two days. The rock mass facing my position in this shot separates this natural pool from the open sea. There is an access to the open sea through a narrow crevice in the rock face. Boats take on tourists, or snorklers from the jetties and take them out through that crevice for a boat trip around the cliffs or to the diving locations.
Fishermen have their boat houses around this pretty little bay.
Joke: One day, a diver was enjoying the aquatic world 20 feet below sea level. He noticed a guy at the same depth he was, with no scuba gear on whatsoever.
The diver went below another 10 feet, but the guy joined him a minute later. The diver went below 15 more feet, a minute later, the same guy joined him.
This confused the diver, so he took out a waterproof chalkboard, and wrote, "How the heck are you able to stay under this deep without equipment?"
The guy took the board and chalk, erased what the diver had written, and wrote, "I'm drowning, stupid.”
Thank you very much for looking and for the wonderful comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
Love our exchange of pic.`s of our countries and living area`s. Great view of this rocky coast.
We have no hills but like we say: our hills are the strong winds, as they are always headwind .
