COMMEMORATING THE GEORGE CROSS

Last week – Friday it was – I went to watch the commemoration of the award of the George Cross to the Maltese people during WWII. If it weren’t for my brother who asked me to go with him (because his wife refused) I wouldn’t have cared to go. But at the end it was an enjoyable experience. I will post a few shots of the event.
This is the band of the Maltese Armed Forces which gave a short display at the beginning of the event. Lighting wasn’t very good for photography and throughout the event I had to take most of my shots from between the heads of two ladies who were in front of me.
