The last stop for the third day of our vacation (23rd July, 2016) was at St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut another picturesque town situated on the shore of the Woflgangsee lake. I will only show this picture of the place not to bore you with too many photos although it is always very difficult for me to select which photos to show and which not to show.
In the bottom shot is the White Horse Inn, which provided the setting of the operetta by Ralph Benatzky "Im weissen Rössl" (I have no inkling about this operetta but got the information from the internet). Top picture is one of the beautiful narrow streets of the town centre.
Thank you so much for looking and for your comments and fav's on yesterday's picture. Yesterday we went to watch another fireworks display and I took almost two hundred shots. Hope to be able to show you a few in due course.
i have to agree with Margo, these photos bring to mind fairy tales. thank you so very much for sharing your travels with us. what a pleasure it is to be able to sit here, in my home, and see all these beautiful places.
