A short break from my travel narrative.
I made this Maltese Clock completely by myself to give it as a present to my daughter, Denise, and now it is proudly hanging in her hall. Those who have been following me for quite some time will remember that I have made similar clocks for myself, for my son and for my brother-in-law and they all occupy an important place in our respective households.
I have cloned onto this picture this figure of a person I captured during the ‘Sliema Arts Festival’ of this year to give scale to the clock. The addition is not perfect but is not the focal point in this picture.
Thank you for looking and for all the comments and fav's on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated.
A lovely clock displaying fine craftsmanship -- your daughter must be very proud of this very personal gift --I know I am very proud of the carpentry items my father made for me . A lovely capture and clever edit Dione -- fav
Great shot of you work you can be proud on. Fav.
But I`m a technical man so I wander . Did you made only the house. (that`s great) or also the clockworks/gears ? Than you may call you a super clock master maker. I know this are two different proffecions.
Well done Dione, love the composition Fav.
