This is Għar id-Dud exactly two weeks ago and five days before we had last week’s storm. I had intended to post this and a few more shots earlier but the rough sea took precedence.
Saturday, 22nd October was the last day before we switched to Winter time and I wanted to go out early to catch the sunrise. I reasoned that during Summer time I made an effort to wake up an hour earlier but with Winter time that would be two hours and I would not be prepared to make that sacrifice. So these sunrise shots could be the last for some months to come.
I arrived at Għar id-Dud at around 6.30am and was settled before the sunlight started to show. So I took this shot of the place in the peace of the early morning. People were exercising along the promenade but I managed to keep them out of my picture.
Many thanks for viewing and for all your comments and fav’s on my rough sea pictures. Very much appreciated.
