We went to Hamrun last Saturday evening. There are a few shops selling all kinds of figurines and other decorations for the celebration of Christmas in its true sense. This shop didn’t lack Baby Jesus figurines of all sizes and forms. Contrary to the sign the shop was not closed and that guy is my brother-in-law who I asked to pose for me in front of the shop window.
Tomorrow I will start a series of shots I took Saturday before last when we passed the evening out at The Three Cities.
Many thanks for your views, and your comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
Such a stunning collection -- It took me ages to scan and look over all the figurines -I do not know how long it would take if I was there to view them -- What a shop !! What do they do for the rest of the year !!
@beryl I do not go often to Hamrun; as far as I know they sell other religious icons like small statues of saints ect. When it's Holy Week time they fill the shop with items related to that theme. During Summer it is 'festa' time and statues of patrons saints of the various parishes in Malta are put up for sale.
