Short break from our Sorrento holiday photos until I catch up with processing and sorting out the hundreds of photos I that I still have to go through.
Last Sunday was the feast of Our Lady of Carmel in Balluta. Part of the celebrations is the parish band that every evening during most of the week preceding the feast goes round the streets of the area playing festive band marches composed by local maestros.
I took this shot Thursday last when I went to look for possible pictures and saw the band going along the street where the church is.
BTW you will definitely remember this quote from the Beatles hit 'Yellow Submarine'.
