Shot taken on 9th July, 2017 – third day of our Sorrento holiday.
The day’s excursion was to Ischia, the largest island in the bay of Naples.
This is a shot I took from the mini-bus we were in as we meandered through the narrow streets of the island. Doesn’t this it look like part of a Christmas crib of the Napolitan style?
Although it is considered by many to be the most beautiful of the islands in the bay of Naples, I didn’t enjoy myself much during our stay on this island. We had plenty of free time to roam around Ischia Porto which is the commercial center of the island and I DO NOT LIKE going around the shops, even more in the 40c heat.

Really enjoying your shots of this area, so many memories for me. I agree with you about shopping.......it's supposed to be a female delight but I hate it and only do it when I have something specific to buy. Wandering around shops in heat like that? No thanks! I'll meet you in a cafe and we can share a cooling drink there instead, how's that? :)
Beautiful view! I'm not much into shopping either. Sounds like I'd find a spot in the shade and wait for the others. It would even be too hot for a photo walk.
