Shot taken on 10th July, 2017 – fourth day of our Sorrento holiday.
We had ample time to walk around the vast grounds of the palace. We walked from the palace (which can be seen in the distance) along a man-made canal which begins with a 4 storey (?) sheer waterfall and continues in successive pools to the foot of the palace. In this picture I am in front of the basin of the waterfall. It was extremely hot and the ladies didn't want to walk all the way back so we took the coach - provided by the palace - back to the shade of the palace and for a refreshing drink.
