MONARCH (is it?)

Third day of our Sicily holiday.
Back to my Sicily photos. This is another nature shot I took on this day. Not much else to capture because we spent the day on the beach with the children and had a great time. But the camera I left at the resort.
No worries about the excessive rain of the day before yesterday. We had another very wet day yesterday but the flooding soon ebbs, everywhere being very close to the sea.

a lovely butterfly shot. The Monarch is one butterfly that is all round the world..so we are all experts :) - and I don't think it is either...but it looks like some sort of swallowtail to me...but my knowledge is very limited

Yes, it's a Swallowtail. For future reference the Monarch is slightly smaller and is orange and black on the wings with little white dots that run along the edge.
