From the beginning of last week we had a gale storm warning that would hit the Maltese Islands worst on Thursday and on Friday. So I decided that on Thursday I would go to take some shots of Grand Harbour in Valletta hoping to capture some dramatic scenes. I had Max with me but was warned by his parents not to let him out of the car in case he would catch some cold which would limit him to his house and spoil the beautiful days of Christmas. So wherever I stopped I had the car with Max inside close by.
The Grand Harbour wasn’t very spectacular but I was in time to take some shots of the Jean de La Valette catamaran returning to harbour from Sicily. And these are four of the shots I took. There were two tug boats on stand by to help it if it finds any difficulty in manoeuvring its way into the safety of the harbour. As you can see it came in safely without needing any help. But I wouldn’t have wanted to be a passenger on it from what I saw.
Thank you so much for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
