MAKING THEIR OWN PIZZA

One highlight of Max’s birthday party was the children preparing their own pizza. My daughter, Denise, always comes up with some innovative surprise for the children and she selected this restaurant at the Valletta Waterfront for this purpose. Now you know why the party area was arranged like I showed in my first picture of this series. The children were given the pastry for the pizza, shown how to stretch it by the restaurant staff and given ingredients to fill it up. The restaurant staff then sent the pizzas down to the kitchen where they were baked and returned for the children to eat. And I can tell you they were delicious.
We had a great time yesterday with my brothers and sister, their families and their families' families. It was nice to meet them all and I took some shots, too.

What a great (and delicious!) idea! You can tell from this shot there were some very happy children when it came time to eat. Everyone is concentrating on topping the pizzas with their favorite things!
