We went to Gozo for the weekend with my brother Joe, my sister MaryGrace and their other halves. And what horrible weather on the first day, Friday, it was. It was raining all day with a hailstorm in the morning (luckily it was before we left home); the humidity was 100% or more and it was freezing outside. Besides, my sister’s home (second home) in Gozo had been closed for some 3 months and took a long time to warm up.
We had around two minutes of forced sunshine before the sun went down and I took this shot through the glass doors of my sister’s living room which is at the back of the apartment overlooking a wonderful rural view. The shot shows the village of Nadur across the valley that separates Nadur from Xagħra where my sister’s home is.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
Sounds really cold! It is snowing here today again, snow boots coming back out of the wardrobe. Love the flash of golden light on the horizon. How nice to see the light on a cold day.
Looks wonderful,very rural & a sea town.
My cousin is going to Malta this year for holidays.
It has so much history.
