The gates of heaven opened as we started our long trip from Enna back to our lodgings and we were hit by a deluge of water which lasted throughout almost our drive. Christine and I were in JP’s rented car together with Louise. We followed Ian’s car who had with him Denise and the children. We were guided solely by Ian’s rear lights as the car’s windscreen wipers couldn’t take all the amount of rain which fell on our windscreen. Denise later said that it was worse for them because they didn’t have a car in front of them to guide them. She said that she and Michaela were scared stiff throughtout the journey.
By the time we got back to our lodgings the rain stopped.
Thank you so much for looking and for your comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
It's so true what Denise says about having no one driving in front of you and if you have someone in front of you and they forgot to turn on their lights, it as bad as having no one in front. your picture really tells the story. glad you got to where you were going safely.
