Ireland – fourth day of our holiday (21th July, 2019).
Captured close to the Drombeg Stone Circle. These were growing on a bush over 6 feet tall. Once I tried growing one in my garden and it barely grew to one feet, produced tiny flowers and died. Never tried it again.
Last night we had some good rain - I didn't hear anything even though I was told there was also thunder and lightning. Good for the garden but for other reasons I would have preferred it if it not rain at all for the next few days.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's - always appreciated.
Love fuchsias, but I don’t think they easy to keep. My mum had a hardy bush of them that came back every year. But, the flowers on those are small & not as showy as these.
I never managed to grow fuschias either. Mine flowered like mad and then died. I never tried again either, i love how the one on the right look like ballerinas
