This shot is enlarged a number of times.
I walked along the road as a pavement doesn’t exist on both sides and I had to be very careful as cars passed by at speed and I walked so close to the edge of the road that I often almost stepped on the wall that marks the boundary of the road as the fields are below the level of the road. In the distance I saw this egret foraging among the grass and I took a couple of shots of it. It was probably one of the egrets I had seen earlier this year at Salini Salt Pans . I was surprised as I had considered they were water fowl.
The story continues tomorrow.
Thanks a lot for your views, comments and fav's.
You have to be so careful not to wobble into the road when walking along a busy narrow road like that especially when we have our eyes on photo ops! I have never seen an egret so would be very interested...well captured!
