From my end of April walk along the Victoria Lines from Gharghur to Naxxar changed to Madliena .
The steps up the other side of the Victoria Lines going up to Madliena were a hard climb. Each step was narrow, uneven, higher than normal and in some places slippery. I felt like I was climbing the difficult path to heaven.
Imagine 19th century soldiers in full gear going up those steps on the double. Or perhaps even worse rushing down and slipping half way.
I liked how they looked in b&w.
