Friday before yesterday I went for a long walk along the Strand in Sliema – from Ta’ Xbiex to Tigne’ Point and back. It was a beautiful day. Seems that tourism is flourishing again with these two boats full of people leaving the harbour for different trips. Social distancing and the wearing of masks, although still requested by the Health Authorities, are barely followed. Christine and I stick to the protocol and we are both sad to see people not caring a hoot about the consequences. I have noticed this also in Naples.
Lovely shots. I will be wearing my mask for some time to come. Our restrictions ease further from tomorrow and fully vaccinated people can travel anywhere in our State. I suspect that some unvaccinated people will join in too, so Covid cases could rise before too long.
Also fully vaccinated people can come into Australia without having to quarantine too.
Two lovely shots, and in some ways nice to see all the tourists again. Sadly many people here are not bothering with masks either, and sometimes on a train or bus I am the odd one out still wearing my mask. The result was inevitable - infection rates have rocketed upwards.
Lovely captures. The wearing of masks had been relaxed here a lot,I'd rather they'd still enforce it in shops etc.I still wear mine when I go shopping (which isn't very often)
Also fully vaccinated people can come into Australia without having to quarantine too.
